We have a very detailed two day process for refinishing that produces a beautiful shiny glossy finish that is indistinguishable from a brand new product. We have a five year warranty on bathtubs and wall tile, and a one year warranty on sinks, counter tile and most repairs.
FIRST DAY
Mask off walls around bathtub, place tarps on floors & counters to protect other surfaces while work is performed.
Set up exhaust system to vent any unpleasant odors from your home.
Remove all old caulking, remove overflow hardware.
Thoroughly clean surface with two different industrial cleaners to remove soap film, oils, and mineral deposits.
Repair any chipped, cracked or rusted areas in bathtub.
Apply one coat of XL Aerospace epoxy primer for adhesion (A two component, 1:1 ratio polyamide cured epoxy primer with three Silanes blended into the catalyst. Used in the aerospace industry) and then apply three coats of the acrylic polyurethane finish using HVLP spray equipment in the color blended to match your existing fixtures or your specifications.
The new finish will start drying within an hour after the completion of the application and will continue to totally dry overnight.
SECOND DAY
Remove all masking paper.
Repair any flaws or blemishes in finish.
Polish with high speed buffer to remove dust particles and produce a smooth highly glossy finish.
Apply new silicone caulking around the bathtub.
Clean up area, and remove all debris.
Your new tub is ready to use in just a few hours after we have completed the job!
